“Triple Axel” N° CO-182

A zippered pouch made from stretch fabric with copper metallic bouclé, turquoise blue faux leather, and bright light mint lining.

"Intuitions" Range / Theme Whimsy Compact yet spacious Fish clutch, “Triple Axel” twirls, shines, and nestles in your bag.

Its story

This cute little clutch is both compact and spacious.
Its small size lends itself perfectly to the bold play of contrasts. The movement of the metallic bouclé and the flashes of light it produces contrast with the smooth and more matte texture of the faux leather and the cotton strap.
The warmth of orange responds to the coolness of turquoise, like a sunset over a tropical sea.

Upcycled figure skating fabric scraps previously used in a “Baguette” shoulder bag, combined with the last small pieces of rescued faux leather previously used on the “Working Girl - Envolée” shoulder bag.

“Triple Axel” is one of the 5 pieces from the “Poisson d'Avril” (April's Fool) collection, born from an impulse when Shamballa Bags released this adorable pouch pattern that inspired me a lot. In search of whimsy, I got sucked in and immediately imagined the most incredible combinations of materials and colors:
✨ mirror leather, metallic bouclé, faux leather, sequins, high-couture denim, synthetic fur, sequined tulle, cork on cotton, satin, linen…
🎨 gold, rainbow, silver, copper, turquoise, sage, fuchsia…

🤩 A feast for the eyes and the senses!

Common questions

Do you ship internationally?

I ship to France and outside the European Union. Other European Union countries are not served at the moment.
If your country is eligible but does not appear in the list, please contact me at hello@maroquinerie-sentimentale.fr or by phone at +33(0)661356222. With your complete details, I will provide you with a final invoice that you can then pay by bank transfer or credit card.

Where/How are they made?

I make all my products in my workshop in the city of St Just St Rambert in the Loire department (42). I use several machines depending on needs: a professional sewing machine, an industrial sewing machine, a serger, a press (for eyelets, rivets, etc.), an iron press, and a motorized skiver.

I carefully choose my technical supplies (interfacings, hardware, etc.) and some innovative materials (such as cotton-backed cork or silicon faux leather) from trusted suppliers.

My other fabrics and materials are mostly upcycled and come from renowned babywearing brands, dormant stocks from Haute-Couture/High-End houses (clothing and furnishings), scraps from High-End leather goods houses, as well as “seconds” from specialized boutiques (especially for faux leather) or from personal collections found at flea markets or on specialized second-hand websites.

How do you ship?

Delivery of your order is an essential part of my customer service. I strive to provide you with a reliable, fast, and convenient delivery experience, so you can quickly enjoy your purchases.

Once your order is placed, I ensure that your items are carefully packaged and prepared for shipping. I choose the most suitable packaging options to protect your products during transportation.
My pieces are thoughtfully wrapped and shipped in upcycled cardboard boxes (read more).

Each bag is protected by its custom-made satin drawstring pouch, made from 100% organic cotton satin or 100% linen fabric, and closed with a 100% organic cotton cord, that I custom-make specifically for each bag.
Wallets and other small items are wrapped in tissue paper, either new (locally and sustainably produced) or recycled depending on their size.

I offer free shipping to France, except for Kinusaiga items (see below). For all other destinations, I aim to maintain competitive and transparent shipping costs. Shipping fees are calculated based on the weight, size of your package, and the destination to provide you with the fairest pricing possible.

Kinusaiga items (kits and artworks) have their own rule: within mainland France and Monaco, shipping starts from €4.90 depending on weight; to the French overseas territories, standard Colissimo rates apply. They don't go further on their own, but with a bag or a wallet they travel at no extra cost, wherever I ship leather goods.

Whether it's standard, express, or international delivery, I work with reliable carriers (Colissimo or Mondial Relay) to ensure the delivery of your package within the estimated timeframes, with tracking and insurance. If you wish to use other shipping providers like FedEx or UPS, please contact me at hello@maroquinerie-sentimentale.fr or by phone at +33(0)661356222 so I can calculate a cost estimate for you.

What do you do with your production offcuts?

Your own bespoke fabric offcuts aren't covered here: they're always sent back to you with your finished piece, unless you tell me to keep them or dispose of them differently.

As for my own production offcuts: nothing is thrown away if I can help it. They're reused in my workshop for reinforcement, worked into mosaics to create larger pieces, or used as is for small creations (keychains, bookmarks...). The rest is given away depending on its nature and size: to other artisans (such as jewellery makers), or to associations, community centres and schools for their workshops.

Charlotte’s baby wrap

After ordering a bag from stock, Charlotte realized it would be too small. I offered to make her a custom, larger version, and she sent me her baby wrap to transform.
